Two leading life sciences advocacy organizations, the Bay Area Bioscience Association (BayBio) and the California Healthcare Institute (CHI) have merged to create a single, state-wide life sciences advocacy and business leadership organization, the California Life Sciences Association (CLSA). CLSA’s new website launched today.
Considered the birthplace of biotech, California contains the largest and most innovative collection of life science companies in the world, including the growing cluster of companies based here in the North Bay.
As the North Bay Life Science Alliance works to increase awareness of life science opportunities in the North Bay at both a state and national level, we welcome the increased focus on California that this merger will bring. For more information, visit the CLSA website.
