The Novato-based Buck Institute for Research on Aging has partnered with Muses Labs, an Alzheimer’s disease digital health information service company, to offer a Memory Enhancement Immersion Program known as RE:Mind™, which provides participants personalized medical guidance through the use of genetic mapping and big-data analytics.
Program attendees will receive intensive program education over four days in Sonoma, California, including work with a dietician and physical therapy personnel at Sonoma Valley Hospital covering a variety of lifestyle changes. “Following through with the combination of interventions over time is the key to sustained improvement, and is a core message of RE:Mind,” says Denise M. Kalos, VP Cognitive Wellbeing Programs at Buck Institute. “Also, early identification of risks and a focus on prevention is far better than waiting until any symptoms appear.”
